Is it bad that I really enjoy the remix of Jai-Ho by PCD? Probably. Do I care that you might not? Nope.

I'm getting really fed up about all the news coverage Chris Brown is getting. Don't get me wrong - I'm completely for him getting however much time he's getting in jail, and all of these other things, but I find it slightly comical that just because he chose to beat up Rihanna, she has now become the spokeswoman for woman in awful relationships. I'm not sure people realize how other parts of the world work. There are numerous things like this happening all over the world, every single day. But these women don't get a second of air time on CNN or The Beat 94.5 because it's simply "a way of life for them," or whatever. I don't know. I believe I'm able to speak openly about this because my ex-stepfather was one of those men. One of those men who came home at 2am just looking to pick a fight with my mother purely because she was there, and because he could do whatever he felt like at that time. I don't really understand this male logic, to be honest. But what it all boils down to is that if the anchors on CNN do choose to keep their news spectrum stretching as "far" as Chris Brown's latest picture of him looking surely, I'll just have to find a new channel to get my news from. Maybe BBC, they seem to have their goddamn heads and priorites in line.
